With a passion for soul and R&B, she started singing in church and taking piano lessons at the age of 5. By the age of 12, she was singing with her 3 sisters, which quickly turned into a full time ministry. Known as \u201cSurrendered Heart,\u201d Amy and her sisters recorded 3 CDs \u2013 the final album at the renowned Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN, and toured in Brazil, Mexico and across the Western United States. Amy\u2019s achievements include 1st place win at the American Christian Music Showcase in San Jose, CA. which was the beginning of her solo endeavors. This one event propelled her career, allowing her to record five demos with writers and producers from EMAC Publishing \/ Gotee Records. Amy also won the Vocal III Category of the Gospel Music Association event \u201cMusic in the Rockies\u201d as well as achieving the 1st place win in the Solo\/Duet Category at the \u201cChristian Music Awards\u201d Talent Competition sponsored by United One Productions.<\/p>\n
Amy\u2019s much-anticipated album \u201cMiracles\u201d is set to release worldwide on November 21, 2017. Amy worked with an all star team of award winning producers on this project! Grammy, Emmy and Dove Award winning Shannon Sanders (India Arie, Jonny Lang, Jonathan McReynolds) produced six of the nine tracks on the album. Grammy Award winning Ron Rawls (Mandissa) produced the title track \u201cMiracles\u201d. Two time Grammy Award winning James Waddell (Aretha Franklin, Kirk Franklin) produced \u201cAll Nations\u201d a song that Amy co-wrote and recorded as a duet with her beautiful artist friend from Nigeria, Shalom. And last but certainly not least, Dove Award winning Kene \u201cGhost\u201d Bell (The Katinas, Grits) produced \u201cGiving Me Love\u201d. Amy continues to travel, singing and speaking at concerts, conferences, women\u2019s events & retreats. In addition to Amy\u2019s ministry in the United States she has ministered in many different countries including Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, & The Philippines. <\/p>\n
Amy\u2019s combination of soulful pop mixed with a heart of worship has given her the ability to reach people from many different walks of life. She and her husband Stoney are Pastors of The Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Madera Ranchos, CA where she regularly exercises her ministry. As worship leader at The Lighthouse, Amy\u2019s writing has become about a 50\/50 split \u2013 half straight up songs of worship, and half heartfelt, passionate songs of life experience. However, she admits that writing worship songs has become her escape. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing like surrendering to true worship, it has a way of bringing everything into perspective, He is God and I am not!\u201d <\/p>\n

Born from a cry of desperation, it is both a song of hope and a challenge of belief. Doubt and fear rise to crush the existence of faith but it is unwavering faith that moves the heart of God. The chant-like chorus that repeatedly resounds two very powerful words \u2013 \u201cI believe\u201d \u2013 is a call to believers young and old, a revival of hope that speaks volumes and protests the cruel realities of life.
