When I was a kid growing up in church we sang songs like “Oh the blood of Jesus it washes white as snow”, “Are you washed in the blood, in the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb”, “There is power, wonder working power in the blood of the Lamb”, “The blood that gives me strength from day to day it will never lose it’s power”! There was a very keen understanding that no matter what it was the blood was strong enough! It’s not a complicated thing! Because of His great sacrifice, that blood that He shed on the cross, we now possess the great privilege of coming to His throne and being washed white as snow by the blood of Jesus Christ. There is nothing that we can get ourselves into that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse us and make us whole again!!!
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
